Streamline D - Double Disc Ring Technology
The STREAMLINE D front press system is an exclusive development arising from Lynx partnership with SIMBA International to employ the established DD press ring on front mounted equipment. Streamline D has a single row of 700mm dia DD rings - the largest available -fitted into the main section of the press frame and run on a split axle. This allows a speed differential between the rings for easier steering correction in work.
Depending on user preference, the front section of the press is fitted with a choice of tine systems. These include the patented Simba leaf spring levelling board systems, which can be combined as required with two rows of spring tines or two rows of rigid tines (shear bolt protected).
Proven over all soil types, DD rings combine a wide shoulder and a sharp cutting edge to both cultivate and consolidate the seedbed. The profile of the rings provides a degree of flotation to maintain a consistent depth. This flotation effect is of particular benefit on light soils where traditional presses can bulldoze and increase draft.

.
Patented press discs are proven soil effective in all soil types. The
simple clean shape prevents heavy soiling from picking up and in light
soil they resist the tendency of cast rings to bulldoze and increase
draft.
The DD rings are formed by placing two shaped chrome boron steel disc blades back to back. These are mounted on an axle and pressurised. This ensures that, as the leading edge wears down, they stay tight and maintain an effective cutting edge. - Robust 100x100 Frame Construction
