Twin-Force Power Harrows –
effective cultivation at the double
The Alpego range of Rotodent fixed and folding power harrows incorporates a whole range of innovative features protected by no less than 30 patents. All Alpego Rotodent power harrows utilise Twin Rotor technology. Two extra long, high-speed rotors mounted on conical bearings, joined together by a single support, enable the machine to deliver real benefits in terms of performance and high forward speed, even when working directly into stubble.
High performance PTO drive shafts feature auto cut-out cam-clutches, while rounded rotors reduce drag and power requirement. High-clearance rotor shafts allow trash to pass through easily. At the back, a floating roller and levelling board mounted in a parallelogram arrangement give quick, accurate depth control.
Fixed models with working widths of 3 and 4 metres are available to suit tractors from 80-250hp. Folding machines come in widths of between 4 and 8 metres and can be used with tractors up to 500hp without the need for a separate cooling system, thanks to a large capacity four-speed bevel gearbox. All models in the folding range have a transport width of 2.45m.
